Fall 2013, The Start to Something New

For 18 years I had grown up under my parents protection. However on September 11th 2013 I left the protection of the home I had grown up in for the past 10 years to embark on a journey. Over the course of 3 months many friendships were formed, tears were shed, many firsts occurred and many goodbyes were said. However, I wouldn't trade this first semester of college for anything. I learned a lot about myself that I know I wouldn't of learned anywhere else. Here's a peek into that first semester of college.

Best Friend Ellen and I on move in day 9/13

Elder Christofferson came and gave the devotional

Josh Atkinson got called to serve in the Tuxtla Guiterrez Mexico Mission
Bobby Cornelius got called to serve in the Ghana Kumasi Mission

In the end I feel so blessed to have come in contact with each of these people. They have blessed my life in so many ways.

Why?

Your always being told in life that you need to write down in your journal,
So that your future posterity will be able to remember you and what you did.
I figured I would create this blog to document my life from here on out.
So in future years my posterity will be able to look back on what I did throughout my life time.
They will know who I am, what I stand for and what I accomplished as I embarked on such a journey.
Hopefully, I can leave a legacy that encourages, inspires and motivates those throughout their lifetime.
